Matthew West is the managing editor of the Consumer News Division of Adfero managing a number of consumer websites including aboutproperty.co.uk.

Matthew has been a journalist for seven years with roles including the editorship of business-to-business title Mortgage Distributor and the role of news editor of IFAonline, a B2B website for the independent financial adviser community, which twice won the prestigious HeadlineMoney personal finance website (trade) of the year award in 2006 and 2007.

Sarah Garrod is a reporter for aboutproperty.co.uk and is a new addition to the editorial team joining at the start of 2009.

After graduating from Durham University she studied a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism at Cardiff University.

Her previous experience has predominantly been in print media, specifically in the north-west, where she grew up.

As well as having an interest in the property industry, Sarah is also a keen amateur photographer and has written travel features for a number of publications.

In her spare time she enjoys most sports including football, swimming and surfing, as well as actively following the arts and theatre.
