St John's Wood is a popular area for London's professionals for a number of reasons, including its high-end appeal, excellent amenities and wide choice of properties.

Located in the City of Westminster, St John's Wood is close to some of the capital's most frequented places, such as Trafalgar Square and Regent's Park.

Traditionally, the area was part of Great Middlesex Forest, but it later became a London suburb, and throughout the 19th century it experienced a sharp rise in low-density villa-style housing.

Sports fans will also be able to see Lord's Cricket Ground, which is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club and the Marylebone Cricket Club.
